So many different organizations lend a hand to the Food Bank Coalition throughout the year-each in the way that works best for them. Some hold holiday food drives among their employees. Some donate leftover products, food, furniture, computers and more. Some contribute free services.
There are too many to mention each one. Here are some of our top business partners in San Luis Obispo County.
Grocery Stores
These grocery stores are fundamental to our success. They allow the Food Bank to pick up excess produce, dairy products, meat and packaged food. The fresh selections are so popular with our clients! Most also work with us during our food drives and some go a step further and create their own promotions to support us. Watch our calendar to see what's up.
Corporate Donors
Organizations large and small give cash donations to the Food Bank. We appreciate each donation, stretching every dollar to bring in about 10 pounds of food. Here are some of our largest corporate donors.
In-Kind Donors
Several Central Coast companies donate their services to the Food Bank, sometimes matching what our budget allows, other times waiving their fees entirely. These are just some of the in-kind donors we couldn't do without.
