During the school year, over 16,000 children in SLO County participate in the Federal assistance program Free and Reduced Price School Meals, which provides students with a meal at school. Now, when school lets out for summer, these children can access nutritious meals (like breakfast or lunch) and a snack through the SLO County Food Bank's Summer Meals Program. Meals are FREE to children and teens ages 18 years and younger and are distributed at approved sites during the summer months when school is not in session. Locations of meal sites are listed below.
