Donate Food
Donating food is a great way to support the Food Bank Coalition. When families and organizations contribute fresh and non-perishable food, it puts more variety on our shelves and in our freezers. We can then use more of our funds for purchasing bulk food for agency partners and our direct distribution programs.
Please consider dropping off food items at one of the many business partners joining with the Food Bank to help feed so many people who are struggling this holiday season. Find out where you can donate.
We especially enjoy the opportunity to take advantage of the abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables we grow and value so highly in San Luis Obispo County. The Food Bank is committed to providing healthy, nutritious food to our clients, not just filling bellies.
We receive donated food:
- From churches, businesses and even individuals who host food drives
- From restaurants, caterers and event organizers who have leftovers
- From grocery stores that participate in our program to "rescue" fresh food
- From farmers and backyard gardeners who bring us part of their crop
We can generally accept donated food at our warehouses in Paso Robles and Oceano during business hours on the weekdays. Click to find out more via phone or email.
