Friends of the Food Bank
There's a special group of individuals forming now, the "Friends of the Food Bank." These people are inspired to uphold the work of the Food Bank Coalition in very important ways.
The mission of the Friends of the Food Bank is primarily to support the organization financially. We may occasionally call on one or more of them for help in a special situation, but for the most part we simply count on them for annual financial contributions. We also encourage them to be ambassadors for the Food Bank, informing others in the community about our work.
This group comes together periodically for organizational updates, meetings and social gatherings. If you'd like to be one of our Friends, contact Carl Hansen, the Food Bank's Executive Director, at 805-238-4664.
