Individual Opportunities

If you want to put your extra time to good use, make a difference in your town and meet others who care about their fellow citizens, there's no better place to volunteer than the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County.

You can volunteer once a year, every weekday or just when you have time.

You can bring a family member or friend with you, or just bring yourself.

You can help with anything from driving a truck to writing a press release.

Everyone is welcome to lend a hand in the fight against hunger in San Luis Obispo County. Through the efforts of volunteers and Food Bank staff, together we deliver over 4 million pounds of food annually to more than 30,000 hungry and "food insecure" children, seniors and families in our county.
