Our Mission is to alleviate hunger in San Luis Obispo County, and be a source of food support during disaster. The core of our effort is our collection and distribution of food to other local organizations feeding the hungry. We accomplish this through the following activities:
  • Gathering, storing, and distributing large quantities of food from national and local sources to a network of nonprofit and community organizations feeding hungry people.
  • Providing information to community members and feeding organizations regarding available food resources.
  • Involving community members as volunteers, food donors and financial donors to leverage resources and provide exceptional value.
  • Speaking on behalf of hungry people and feeding organizations to raise awareness about the issues of hunger in our region.
  • Networking with local, regional, state, and national leaders regarding food and hunger issues.
