Emergency Food Assistance Program

The Food Bank Coalition administers EFAP, a federally funded program and supplies food once a month to low-income families and individuals of all ages through its USDA Commodities Program. These distributions are held at community centers, churches, senior centers and veteran’s halls throughout the county. Here is a link for EFAP Commodity Fact Sheets and Recipes.

Eligibility

  1. Must attend the distribution held within your local community
  2. Must self-certify that you meet the income guidelines

Requirements

No income documentation is required. Recipients are asked to self certify that they meet the posted income guidelines by the USDA and sign their name, address, and the total number of people in their household on our sign-in sheet. This is kept confidential and used for the sole purpose of reporting total number of recipients served.
