Required Service
Many people who need to perform community service to meet a school or court requirement choose to volunteer their time at the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County. Why?
- We offer flexible hours and can usually accommodate your schedule
- We're open most days, meaning you can complete your service quickly
- We'll provide you a document stating your hours when you're finished
Our volunteers performing required service often enjoy knowing they're meeting a basic need in their community by helping provide nourishing food to people who might otherwise go hungry. Some volunteers stay on to continue to help after they've completed their required service.
