Every day, thousands of residents in our community struggle to meet their basic nutritional needs, but you can make a difference right now! Because you are so generous, we can maximize your donations of money, food and time. We are able to turn a $1 donation into $10 worth of food.

With your help, the Food Bank Coalition is leading the fight against hunger. You can bring immediate relief and hope to a family or individual who is suffering from hunger.

The Food Bank Coalition has many options for giving to the meet the interests of our community of supporters:

Donate Money

The Food Bank Coalition invests your donations effectively and efficiently: 94% of your donation goes towards getting food to the hungry residents of our community.

The Food Bank is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so your gift is tax deductible and you’ll receive a tax receipt for your contribution.

Donate Food

The Food Bank solicits, warehouses and distributes large-scale food donatations to more than 225 non-profit agency partners and directly through our food assistance programs. The Food Bank can also help you find a drop site if you are looking to make an individual donation. To donate food, call (805) 238-4664.


Volunteers are essential at all levels of the Food Bank’s operations from working in the warehouse packing food to staffing at public awareness and fundraising events.

Virtual Food Drive

The Food Bank’s Virtual Food Drive tool creates personalized, interactive web page for our supporters where they can invite coworkers, family & friends to help reach their fundraising goal – all while helping provide more meals that a traditional canned food drive.

Reasons to Host a Virtual Food Drive:
1. Convenient; it eliminates grocery shopping and carrying grocery items to the workplace.
2. It is easily manageable for companies with multi-sites and or multi-city locations.
3. Fun & interactive; it is creatively designed with colorful click-and-drag food icons.
4. It allows the Food Bank to buy in-demand food items wholesale and in bulk.
