Children’s Book Donation

The Raising a Reader committee of The Monday Club SLO is continuing its partnership with the SLO Food Bank to further their mission of promoting childhood literacy and providing access to books for children.
On the second and fourth Monday in May, June, and July from 2 – 5 pm (note: on May 23 from 12 – 3pm), The Monday Club will collect new and “gently loved,” non-religious children’s books, including board books, paperbacks, and Spanish language books, for infants through grade 6 from the community at 1815 Monterey Street in San Luis Obispo.
The collected books will be put into Breakfast Bags that are distributed to children between the ages of 2 and 18.
