Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market
August 5, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
August 1st through 7th is National Farmers’ Market Week! This annual celebration highlights the vital role farmers markets play in the nation’s food system. Amidst a global pandemic and nationwide change, it is now more important than ever for markets to bring people together.
The SLO Food Bank’s Nutrition Education team is partnering with the University of California San Luis Obispo County Cooperative Extension for National Farmers’ Market Week. We will be talking to attendees about EBT and Market Match at farmers’ markets. So come and visit us at the Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market on Thursday, August 5th from 6 – 9pm for some activities, recipes, and information about using EBT benefits to purchase fresh, local produce!
