What’s the difference between a fund drive and a food drive?

Please view this article from Feeding America to learn about the benefits of fund drives.

Fund Drives

A fund drive raises monetary donations for our mission. This is the most effective support you can offer because we are able to purchase nutritious items in bulk through our expansive network of food producers and growers. It also requires less time and manpower than sorting through large quantities of donated goods to remove expired and damaged goods.

Food Drives

A food drive collects in-kind food donations. We also gladly accept these donations and ask that you review our guidelines for our most needed items.
