Mike Quamma
Chief Financial Officer
SESLOC Credit Union
Mike, CFA, CPA-Inactive has served as the Chief Financial Officer of SESLOC Credit Union since February 2020. In this role, he is responsible for all of the organization’s financial functions, including accounting, finance, investments and audit, as well as all risk management activities. His career spans 30 years, all within the cooperative-structured Credit Union industry. Prior to joining SESLOC, he served as SVP/CFO for Seattle Credit Union (2017 – 2020) and VP Treasury/Finance for BECU (2004 – 2017) in Seattle. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Vermont. Prior non-profit Board positions include Habitat for Humanity Seattle/SKC (2007 – 2012) and Mentor Washington (2015 – 2020). He chooses to support the SLO Food Bank because Credit Unions have a common philosophy of ‘people helping people’ which evolved from their origins as the only option for those individuals looking for borrowing and saving opportunities. This philosophy has become very important to Mike, and he is honored to be a part of such a fantastic organization that allows him to support his local community as well as play a small role in helping to alleviate hunger in the entirety of SLO County.
