SLO Food Bank, also known as the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County, is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law; EIN # 77-0210727. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your receipt. Your receipt will be delivered to you in your preferred method. For online donations, you will receive an automated confirmation of your gift and your formal receipt will be sent to you within two weeks. During busier giving seasons, please expect a longer turnaround time for receipts. 

Yes, please place your contribution in an envelope addressed to SLO Food Bank, 1180 Kendall Road, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. If donating by check, please make check payable to “SLO Food Bank. Due to the overwhelming generosity from our community, gift receipt/acknowledgment may take up to four weeks. We appreciate your caring and compassionate support and are working diligently to process all gifts received. Please contact our team if further assistance is needed.

Please visit slofoodbank.org/dedication to dedicate your gift in honor or in memory of a loved one. We will send a handwritten card or customized e-card to your loved ones to share the impact of the donation made in their name. Please share their address or email information when making your gift if you’d like us to send a card.

Yes! You can view past contributions, gain PDF receipts, and manage or set up your recurring gift in your donor portal here.
